Downtown Sheboygan spans from 6th to 10th Street, and from Michigan Avenue to Riverfront Drive. The Downtown district is Sheboygan’s premier destination for excellent cuisine, shopping, specialty boutiques, and family entertainment and events.

At the center of the Downtown district is 8th Street, where you can find shops and restaurants within comfortable walking distances from local parks, as well as family-centric attractions like holiday parades and the Above and Beyond Children’s Museum. The new City Green space, located on the corner of New York Ave. and N. 7th Street, hosts outdoor concerts, picnics, and other community-centered events throughout the summer. The John Michael Kohler Arts Center and the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts showcase Sheboygan’s emphasis on the arts and culture. These venues attract thousands of visitors every year to art galas, live performances, concerts, plays, and other events.
